Our People

Tim Butler

Tim has worked across small and large businesses. His father was a successful retailer, and Tim grew up in a retail environment.

Technology and imagery are in his blood. Tim started his career programming commercial audio-visual shows for product launches and corporate communications for companies including GSK, Mitsubishi and Bausch and Lomb.

In the nineties, Tim had his own business providing Internet site development for companies including PC World (1st Ecommerce site), Tetley Tea (Intranet), Sun Microsystems (Intranet) and RAF (Careers CD).

In the Noughties, Tim combined his love of technology with the emerging Digital Signage Market. Tim headed the ground-breaking London Underground Digital Advertising Project, responsible for Software, Network, Digital Escalator Panels, LCDs and Cross Track Projection. This complicated project set the standard for future digital advertising globally.

In 2010, Tim created Akeman Solutions to work with mobile, cloud and productivity. Whilst producing award winning software, Store Performance was born to fulfil the need for a MarTech provider in-store.

Andy Hogg

Andy completed his BSc in Aeronautical Engineering at Salford University. Following this he started his career at Land Rover in product engineering and product planning roles.

He was recruited into Lotus Engineering to establish a system dynamics team for CAE and Active Technologies. Andy then went on to manage a number of complex engineering consultancy projects on behalf of major OEM.s before completing his Postgraduate Diploma.

Posts in commercial management and marketing for Lotus Engineering were followed by roles leading corporate and product strategy for Lotus Cars including responsibility for all internal car programmes and a team of over 50 project managers.

Andy subsequently applied this mix of technical and programme skills to consultancy roles aiding manufacturing and service organisations before becoming Chief Engineer at CBS Outdoor. There he held responsibility for the engineering and project teams during the transformation of the London Underground advertising estate.

He joined ex-colleague Tim Butler at Akeman Solutions and then Store Performance to leverage the digital innovations started on the LU project.
